>Okay, here it goes: A physics professor and his assistant are working on liberating negatively-charged hydroxyl ions, when all of a sudden, the assistant says, "Wait, professor, what if the salicylic acids do not accept the hydroxyl ions?" And the professor responds, "That's no hydroxyl ion; that's my wife!"

>Why does a rock drop just as fast as a lead ball
It just does, fundamental property of the world.
>but the lead ball hits harder
Because they're going at the same speed bu lead ball is heavier.

actually, they have different masses and fall at different speeds. Just because the universe doesn't cater to your snowflake perspective and you don't have the wit to see it doesn't make it false

because earth has no knowledge of the mass of the object. all earth can do is pull it down. the heavier object has knowledge of its own heavier mass, so hits the earth harder.

That's incorrect because both Earth and the ball fall to their common center of gravity. Hence, the lead ball falls faster.
