Yes, but the whole point of the OP is that we can save a shitload of money, and look like a MUCH bigger space cat, if we pick one that looks close, and is a solo signal at the moment, we repeat it once, and then onlookers who see both, will be forced to assume they are both ours.
FRB121102 is 3 billion light years away, that would be a pretty big message.
I say go for it, if we can.
There might be better choices, but that one looks quite solid.
We save resources by producing one, when one already exists.
Rather than produce two from scratch.
ASI may see this concept as an absolute win.
It may save multiple planets worth of resources, in the future.
