Does anyone know what Harvard study this grifter is talking about? I searched everywhere and couldn't find anything from Harvard on this, but this isn't my area so I could be using the wrong keywords.

Can anyone here back his claims? I need some citations please.

I believe there's a club you can verify the claims at, but kys is required for entry unfortunately.

I couldn't find the study either, and I think Michael "Mr Silk" Lee is a grifter because it said in his site that "Michael's got Master's degrees in communication and behaviorism" but doesn't say where and I couldn't find him anywhere.

I know this sort of a weird idea, but trust me it has merit. Back in the 90s Harvard conducted a study where they took 40 college-aged men and women each and put them in a speed dating cycle for several hours. The men and women were taken from the relatively same backgrounds, physically fit, high GPA, wealthy families, etc.. What the women didn't know, was that half of the men were told to appear and act depressed as to communicate the aura of being suicidal. Turns out, the men who were told to do this got resounding success in the speed dating cycle. Conclusion? Do some things in life that will make you depressed to the point where you start genuinely contemplating, it seems that you'll have more success that way.

Acting depressed is a power move. Being depressed isn't. Maybe they can't always figure it out, but they will eventually.
