Just paid 140 USD to visit a dermatologist who didn't even know about the only FDA-approved drug against vitiligo and who clearly knew far less than me about the condition after I had done a couple days of research looking into studies by myself.

get another dermotologist. Many years self tanning sunscreens were all over the news, magazines, papers, tv ads and I asked my longtime dermo about it, he said he never heard of it before. That was the last time I went to him. Search for one who specializes in what you need/want, who has numerous good reviews, do not hesitate to fire them and get someone else. My long time GP suddenly became a total asshole. Found out later he was getting divorced and likely divorced raped. Doctors are human with massive egos and young ones usually have massive school debt. Also doctors used to make good money and be in charge, now all the profits and control are with the insurance providers and doctors work their ass off to pay the bills and deal with the paperwork.

Doctors in most countries are not trained how by all logic you’d think they would be. Which is to optimize you. They’re trained to keep you alive. So long as you can stay alive and keep paying taxes then their job is done. This is why, especially for men aged 18-45, they seem annoyed by our presence and like they dgaf like we’re wasting their time (ironically too), and even then for men older their attitude is pretty much like that Louis Ck bit about his ankle having weird pain “yeah that just happens. You’re old man idk wtf you expect from me.”
Any retard can become a doctor. Abuse adderall to get through the school, like most do, then just look shit up on the spot. Refer patients to other docs when you’re not confident in yourself to treat something. It’s a joke job. EMS folk, most surgeons, that shits all different. But normal doctors general practitioners or specialists like dermatologists are a fucking joke. Overglorified drug dealers most of them.
>psychiatrists
The worst of any kind of doctor. Most don’t give a fuck about treating you. Inb4 it’s their job, nah, just because writing scripts is in their scope doesn’t mean they shouldn’t still also be trying to actively work with their PTs to help them overcome whatever issue. I was laughed at and told by one I couldn’t cure my panic disorder I made him give me a script for a beta blocker and permanently cured it in 2 months using the drug like 10x total he said the drug didn’t work how I theorized said I’d need it for life to get the benefits and it had no gains or permanent benefits sure enough I was 100% correct he was wrong. I did my own, carefully planned out, therapy with it and fixed myself. Legit from daily panic attacks agoraphobic to being normal with a job haven’t had a panic attack in years haven’t taken the drug since back then either. It was beyond just normal exposure the idea was force my brain to have experiences WITHOUT(keyword) adrenaline responses

>Went to derm for a cold sore/acne cyst on my lip
>Perscribes me with a cream and said apply it twice a day
>Looked up cream online and said cream is used in patients with severe skin disorders
>Side effects include causes permanent thinning of the skin
>Stopped using cream and cold sore went away on it's own
I'll never trust doctors ever again!

That's silly, I know surgeons who self prescribe beta blockers to dull the anxiety going into surgery for steadier hands and better patient outcomes

>doctor takes drugs to stop anxiety for critical jobs
almost like they’re all hypocrites or something.

>for public safety we need to restrict melatonin to prescription only or at least above age 55 If you don’t want to talk to us lying gatekeeping niggers you can take scopolamine
Doctor jobs should be downgraded to providing advice, no more prescription-only, no more gatekeeping.

Almost all doctors would suggest you take medication.
Literally 98% probably.
If you found one that didn't that means you actually found a good one.

The only dermatologist near me is a black woman straight from Africa. She's also a landlord and rents to my parents. Unsurprisingly she's FUCKING shit at both jobs.

Doctors aren't experts, they're just certified to prescribe and administer drugs/treatments and their consent is required by health insurance companies for any insurance claim you make. Don't expect expertise or empathy or anything else from them. They are like a notary public. You just ask them if they would please put a stamp of approval on something.

they dont prescribe anything for anxiety and dont care if you have it.

They won’t give you anything that could make them look responsible for degeneration, they prefer to give something subtle/insidious like antipsychotic or SSRI for anxiety.
Problem with this system is anything they do give you, they have to endorse. If there was no prescription-only everyone wouldn’t be covering their ass as much

Have you always struggled with anxiety or was it a sudden onset?
Couldn't you just brute force your way through the experience along with the adrenaline response and still achieve therapeutic benefit? Like why do you think the experience without the adrenaline response was so healing?
