Neither possess any IP of value to the MIC, even in the context of Boeing shitting the bed. Locksneed and Northrop are the companies with supersonic and stealth aircraft IP and experience relevant to the MIC. Boeing's expertise is airliners, which neither Boom nor Overture have a credible future in.

On the rare occasion NASA does something useful it takes them decades and costs billions more than it should have. If you're interested in space exploration you'd delete NASA entirely and hand its budget to SpaceX (or some other private entity if Elon triggers you too much)
