I was reading this blog and it said reducing your calorie intake by 10-20% slows the aging process, is this true?

Calorie restriction is too broad of a term. Restriction from what intake to what intake? A morbidly obese hambeast reducing their massive 10k+ kcal/day to 2000 will result in longer life expectancy. The average person in a developed country is overweight, so they would obviously benefit from reducing their intake for the same reasons, if to a lesser degree. I severely doubt the same can be said about a 800 kcal/day anorexic reducing the intake any further.
