Hey anons, im thinking about studying electrical engineering.
what do you think about the field in general, is it a good election over mechanical or electromechanical engineering?

yes. you'll never be out of a job.
and if you're pretty good at it, you can make a lot of money with your own company.

>Have valuable skill no one else has
>you won't get a job

Why are sci schizos like this?

Why is the world doomed to you faggots?

Extreme pessimism is just an excuse to be lazy and not try

Fuck off

bruh
because that's the fuckin reality, you think all those people with electrical engineering degrees just choose to not be employed as electrical engineers? the world IS fucking shit right now

Where's your proof nigga?

You can't just say

>you think all those people with electrical engineering degrees just choose to not be employed as electrical engineers?

And have no proof to back up your claim.

Your math skills alone can land you a job as a statistician making 100k and up.

Stop spouting bullshit because your lazy and don't want to do the hard work and projecting on everyone else

oh shit i made a mistake there's actually a job surplus and we actually gained a manufacturing industry instead of losing it, i misremembered

There are plenty of electrical engineering jobs out there if you're not a dumb retard.
In the worst case scenario, with an engineering degree you can always take a shortcut and become a codemonkey. Plus, this transition is much smoother for electrical engineers because of their background in digital circuits and embedded software. But studying computer science just for its job security (not even sure if it still holds), while you don't give a shit about it, would be a nightmare for you.

All of them end up being software dev writing nodejs lmao. Except electromechanical, they end up as high voltage transformer technician.
