Despite constantly failing to deliver Americans - with their hopeless capitalism fetish - are still trying to force their private space industry meme... by showering it will billions of tax payers money and turning CEOs into state political advisors.
It would be funny if the implications weren't so sad...

Are you just trolling? None of this is true, the government has saved shit tons of money by spacex existing and starlink is profitable.

US taxpayers subsidize everything for the rest of the world. Have you seen the figures on pharmaceutical research? The US funds double what the entire rest of the world combined does.

SpaceX has received roughly $20 billion since it's inception. The space force recently claimed SpaceX has saved the government $40 billion dollars. This has been a net positive for the American tax payer.

Not double, but they spend a lot. And yet Americans have worse life expectancy than Chile or Albania. How can that be if America has the greatest medical technology in the world? If the rest of the world is just leeching of the US, how can most of Europe be doing better in health outcomes?
Because spending the most money =/= having the best healthcare. Why is so much money spent developing drugs in the US? Because companies know that in that bloated market they can scam insurance companies and patients for whatever they want, regardless of the effectiveness of their drug over existing ones. And you get fun situations like pharma companies starting an opioid epidemic, just to push up profits. Isnt capitalism innovative?

SpaceX is already the greatest space operating enterprise in human history, NASA Nor the Soviet and Later Russian Space Agencies, the only two historically and capability wise adequate competitors for this title have ever achieved the launching of material good into space at such volume before.
The Starlink LEO constellation of satellites is the greatest piece of space infrastructure ever constructed by the human race, to create a piece of rhetoric framing the relatively new concept and practice of Private Space enterprises as a failure is absurd.

That line of argument is basically admitting they internalize the idea that the government overpays and plays favorites but that's not the government's fault and your the bad guy for selling to the government.

It wouldn't be as ridiculous if SpaceX was actually picked as a favourite because of corruption and not merit and price.
They are the one example of the government working correctly for the first time in like 100 years. If SpaceX was propped up because the launch market was so inflated that isn't their fault.

Advanced vaccine research doesn't help sedentary lardasses from dying at 60 of heart failure. What exactly is advanced medical technology supposed to do? Completely undo the effects of people passively trying to kill themselves?
