I wish I had that excuse, the reality is I have wonderful adoptive parents who are university professors and very intelligent.
Ive always felt lesser than compared to my family despite the fact that I was loved very much.
They weren’t perfect- they didn’t take my learning issues as seriously as they should have and they always made excuses for me. I don’t blame them at all! They weren’t perfect but they loved me and they did their best, what more can you ask for from your parents ya know?

Reality is that genes matter and I apparently inherited some bad ones. I just kinda suck all around.

Your spatial reasoning isn’t great but it’s kind of on par with most white womens scores. You’re probably bad at sports.

Op, this particular iq spread actually has a nickname; the ‘frustration’ profile.

The characteristics of this profile are high VCI + average reasoning skills but significantly weaker performance Iq.

Basically your ability to understand complex topics as well as your long term memory are actually quite a bit better than the average person, in your case it’s actually extreme.

However your ability to manipulate that information quickly is limited.

Luckily for you, performance IQ (working memory, processing speed) is the only part of iq you can actually compensate for. You need to externalize your thinking so that you can rely on your reasoning skills and not your working memory.
You need to write everything down op.
It does mean you will always be slower than average but you aren’t unintelligent.

It’s a difficult profile but at least you have good comprehension and long term memory. You can honestly get through college in a non stem field on these strengths alone.

You have to be disciplined though op. Are you a conscientious person?
