Endless assumptions, but, in my experience they (and by they I mean the performative ones) are obsessive and too focused on specific things, for good or ill. They spike/specialize, and do NOT excel at things they don’t want to do…. But if it something they DO want to do, then they will have a shockingly good memory (bad otherwise), and excel, possibly even to a prodigious level.

It’s a myth that Einstein was bad at some subjects in school growing up, as this can be attributed to his autism not wanting to give a fuck. He did/learned what he liked.
