If there are an infinite number of natural numbers, and an infinite number of fractions in between any two natural numbers, and an infinite number of fractions in between any two of those fractions, and an infinite number of fractions in between any two of those fractions, and an infinite number of fractions in between any two of those fractions, and... then that must mean that there are not only infinite infinities, but an infinite number of those infinities. and an infinite number of those infinities. and an infinite number of those infinities. and an infinite number of those infinities, and... (infinitely times. and that infinitely times. and that infinitely times. and that infinitely times. and that infinitely times. and...) continues forever. and that continues forever. and that continues forever. and that continues forever. and that continues forever. and.....)...

Why are you repeating exactly the same thread with exactly the same picrel?

How do you define the natural numbers without infinity?

Fun fact: You can easily tell that the set of rational numbers is a higher order infinity than the set of integers by observing that for the rational numbers, if you pick any two members of the set, there are an infinite number of members of the set between them, while for integers, there are a finite number.

Here's the crux of the matter that very few people can state succinctly. Probably because most people are cowardly retards.
We simply don't know if the Universe is discrete or continuous.
If discrete then any talk of infinity is nonsense. May as well be talking about flying pink unicorns. Sheer fantasy. Like children's bedtime stories it provides nothing but entertainment. In which case any mathematical system that incorporates infinity into any equation is immature gibberish.
If continuous then we have to accept that mathematics contains the conceptual equivalent of black holes, areas of uncertainty where all the rules breakdown and we are left with a quasi-mystical system which ironically can never provide precise answers to a framework based on pure logic.
I favor the discrete hypothesis. Why yes, I am a ultrafinitist. Go fuck yourself. I hate you stupid continuous cunts. Arrogant dull minded arsefuckers, the lot of you.
If the universe is discrete then we must assume that at some fundamental level there is an indivisible unit, and that is what the entirely of a proper mathematical system must be based upon. It makes me poo my pants with excitement just thinking about it.... OH DEAR GOD! I JUST POOED MY PANTS! AGAIN! Third time today.

Always adding 1 and getting a new number is the central property of infinity.
