๐Ÿงต Why can we see stars?

Anonymous No. 16494706

Stars are far away, so they should have a fairly small solid angle. Why can we still see them so clearly?

because our eyes only need a couple photons to register a point source

Did you know stars are the mitochondria of the galaxy?

did you know the universe is like a big brain?

There is nothing brighter in the night sky. Starlink satellites can't hold a candle.

how come we cannot see the super nova that explode from all the galaxies, but we can see the galaxies.

>but we can see the galaxies.
the naked eye can't see stars in other galaxies.
everything you can see with your eyes in the night sky is in the milky way.

the novae only put out a short burst whereas the galaxies keep right on pushing out photons for a long time......a long time.

Because stars are closer than we're told just like the sun and move.

Light cannot be focused to a mathematical point, not with your eyes and not with scientific instruments, theres a smallest possible spot size that isnt a point, ray optics are just an approximation. Also these points of light are simply the smallest sizes your eyes can render.
