🧵 Why is the US Struggling to Return to the Moon?

Anonymous No. 16494932

The 1st time was easy.

That was nearly 100 years ago.

What happened?

We could go to the moon because we had basic math skills back then. Now we have idiots who think 2024-1969 is "nearly 100"

The incentive to go to the moon was to claim superiority over the Russians. Russians got a satellite up (very useful tech for humanity in the present), and the US got a man on the moon (useful as a concept for the future). There's not as much incentive to go to the moon. If there were huge deposits of useful material on the moon to mine that warrant the expensive cost to get to the moon, then that's a different story.

Nasa has sent satellites to the other planets and their moons, which is useful for scientific information if they got funding for it, so it's not like they couldn't have gone to the moon more times, it's just not their priority until they find a reason for it to be, like building a telescope on it or solar panels or wtv your imagination comes up with

It was 55 years ago. Boomers were alive and remember it.

"Real Engineering" has Elon Derangement Syndrome. Reminder that he shilled for "Nikola", a scam company that imploded shortly after he shilled them, just to spite Tesla.

The reason we can’t 'return' to the Moon is simple: we never went. The Apollo missions weren’t physical achievements—they were ideological projections, crafted to solidify U.S. dominance in the collective consciousness during the Cold War. Materialists cling to the idea that it was all rockets and engineering, but the real 'landing' took place in the minds of the masses.

Back then, people accepted the story because there was no internet, no widespread access to independent information, and no way to challenge the narrative. Today, with the internet exposing cracks in every official story, lies of that magnitude can’t hold up under scrutiny.

Political inertia. Everything's so bogged now with every faggot demanding every program they don't like be audited and replaced with a program they want every two fucking years. Means there's almost no ability for long-term projects to pick up momentum.

NASA is on the fucking fourth version of its post-shuttle manned spaceflight program, and will probably be moving on to its fifth before long.

Yes. It’s all a big scam. There’s a literal Russian “cosmonaut” who came out and said space travel is all fake and propaganda. The ISS is all fake too. As if they could get all those people up there and back as well as all the water and “upgrades”, doing all the supposed spacewalks without anything going wrong or anyone dying at all when loads of rockets have exploded just after lift off in the past.

shift in philosophy. Apolo had to work. the us wasn't going to fuck around and find out. they had to upstage the reds.
silicone valley's mantra is "move fast and break things" and since everything is autonomous, who cares.

That's because the Apollo missions were faked. The spacecraft could never get anywhere near the Van Allen belt. They are still struggling to cross it.
It's insane to think that a spacecraft with no radioactive shielding crossed the thickest part of it during Apollo and they weren't turned into genetic meat stew.

You have written th3 correct awnser, but it is nit the 4chan awnser. They want to hear its beczuse of browns and wymyns wroking at nasa. Also every tard here seems to forget theyre landing shit on mars just fine.

So I looked into it. China is behind the current "American cant land things" meme. Which is retarded because the US is able to land car sized rovers on mars. But literal retards and gen Zers on tiktok believe it unquestioningly (because they have no introspection (a sign of low iq)) so they think the US is totally unable to do it.
