I still can't fully wrap my head around the fact that fractions, divisions, and ratios are all the same thing. I think this is an example of what Terence Tao said is what is beautiful about math, unexpected connections in seemingly unrelated things.

When I was younger I used to have a harder time understanding fractions and division. It wasn't until much later that I connected the two concepts that I realized it's way easier than I was making it out to be.
