Why does the scientific community act like species going extinct is some tragic phenomena and not something that's been occuring regularly for billions of years

Because most times it is due to human impact, if it were due to natural impact the ecological consequences on the human population would be minimal but since it is a sudden disruption in the ecological systems involved then it is a problem

Retard. If it's caused by humans, it's artificial by definition, and that is the opposite of natural.

Some endangered species are pretty cool like rhinos. I hope we can resurrect wooly mammoths soon using Jurassic Park tech.

An arbitrary distinction. Other animals can use tools and cause sudden disruptions as well. Why do beavers get a pass for destroying ecosystems with their dams?

They don't, they fucked it so its their responsibility to fix it, but beavers don't give a fuck. Humans on the other hand do care about their actions and their consequences on animals. Not too sure how we can convince those bastard beavers to be more considerate but I've got my theories.

To take power from feudalist societies, atheists determined there's no grand narrative and no grand goal. It's kind of weird atheists were lying.

>An arbitrary distinction.
No it is not. It is the opposite of "artificial". It is synonymous to the word anti-artificial or non-artificial. It is arbitrary as saying "the northern hemisphere is an arbitrary distinction from the southern hemisphere". No, it is not. If you posit a northern hemisphere, you automatically also posit the existence of a member of the contravalent set, which is the anti-north hemisphere. The trivial name for anti-north is "south".
Why have we invented the word "natural"? Because it's useful. Do you dispute that it's useful?

Yes, another animal could create that at some point, given enough time. An animal (besides man) will never harness metallurgy.

Humans are parasites, and they're pushing the biosphere over the tipping point. You may say dying from sepsis is natural, but knowingly avoiding treatment goes against self preservation. Humans aren't supposed to be mere parasites, we are the sensory organ of the biosphere and our growth is comparable to that of undifferentiated cancer.
