Why is it that scientists always claim that critical thinking and the scientific method is always about scrutinizing every theory until it is physically proven to be correct and then go out of their ways to believe any type of fairy tale that involves space? Wouldn't there be a necessity for more than literally under 1% of the world's population to actually go to space in order for it to be considered real? What's the deal, here?

Nobody has been a light year away, so any claims about anything that far away is not empirical and are bona fide delulu. Just like the assertion that every is the same for the convenience of their experiments on earf. This is an unjustified axiom.
