not everyone's end goal is to earn as much money as possible. Some people use their intellect to make music, art, free software, teaching and other shit. Most science related fields make almost nothing. Even engineers make at most 100k a year and they are highly intelligent.
most people that are super rich come from super rich families that allow them to invest freely or they got extremely lucky.

I had 8,000 USD free ths night Bitcoin was popping off. I refused to invest in it because it isn't actually worth anything. Cash itself is only worth the cloth it's on, but at least it exists. I am generally tremendously disappointed in the world. You can start breaking things down into statistics like how many illegals are in America and how much housing we have, and how we could literally just give everyone a house if not for them, just as an example, but people are tied too heavily to their crabs in a bucket mentality. I'm tired. It's all just so disappointing how many limitations are just artificial. Energy. Food. Reproduction. I eat, I sleep, I have a computer. Outside of external societal things, what else would money afford me? Change? Money isn't going to help me do that when I view the concept of money itself as an inefficiency. We have traded families, communities, societies, and more broadly the world for this nebulas idea of exchanging debt for servitude.

I don't know, I wanted to do EE initially because I had a home lab (Oscilloscopes, Soldering irons, etc) and fucked about with electronics for a long time. I've wanted to build a homeberw 6502 or Z80 computer, but not sure. I also like model trains, that's fun. Formally though I've only ever studied pure math (B.S, M.S, Ph.D).

I mean, what's worse. Having no resources and never doing anything or having a lot of them and never doing anything. Having resources and ending up not doing anything must hurt more I feel like. Like from that point of view. But then again you could lessen the pain of not doing anything important really, more easily with resources lol.

IQ of 165. Never made more than 125K/yr. Currently make ~50K/yr teaching at a local community college. Once I paid off my student loans 35 years ago I've always made more than I can spend.
My wife pulls 500+K/yr and works harder than anyone I know. She loves it, thrives on the pressure/reward system of industry research.
I am much more intelligent, but she is driven. Both of us grew up with next to nothing. I became happy with little but my books, thoughts, and ideas. She decided long ago that she would never want again.
We have our own money and pay our own share into the family. All of her investment portfolio goes directly to our son and his family should she pass. Mine goes to her and then to our son.

There are many more rich people than geniuses. Yeah, most rich people aren't geniuses, but so what? Genuinely intellectually gifted people would not have a hard time putting a few million away for their own comfort. It doesn't even need to be a priority and they could do it.
I went from rags to bagging a million in just under a decade with zero certs/degrees and that was using decidedly midwit efforts, and without any memecoins. Also most wealthy people I've interacted with were noticably above average in intellect.

NTA, but I am >>16562876.
I turned a grad school summer internship into my first career as a Research Assistant at a non-profit NGO tired to a research school. Started at $27K/yr at 22.
AND IMMEDIATELY MAXED OUT MY RETIREMENT CONTRIBUTIONS IN RETIREMENT AGE PLANNING FUNDS.
Immediately after retirement funds are pulled, write the biggest check you can to your highest interest debt. Monthly min any other debts. Refinance debt as interest rates improve.
Buy property as soon as you can when the market is favorable. I bought my first condo in 2007, right before The Big Short crash of 2008. When I did sell, not at the bottom, but in 2012, I got a large enough payout to put 35% down on my current home.
Had I bought back in 2002 when I could first affoed to, I would have done much better.
Health insurance is great, so is dental, and eye. Use them if you have them. Going to the dentist once every 8-10 will cost a motherfucker. Going twice a year is a fucking bargain in comparison.

Mostly because I partied in college.
Originally wanted to go into the pharmaceutical industry so I could create better medicines and make the big bucks
Went to a top tier college, found it incredibly difficult (I came from shitty USA public schools), did pretty okay for a while, got disillusioned with the ethics of the pharmaceutical industry, burnt out, partied hard and fucked around. I graduated with like a B+ average so not bad, but nothing special.
Now I'm happily married to a girl I met in college, I work in public health and am applying to medical school.
I had a technical sales job 2 years ago where I was about to get promoted to a solid 6 figures, but it wasn't really interesting and I hate sales. I want to make at least 200k a year at some point but I can wait if it means avoiding selling out.

You're an egoistic midwit. I drive around the United States as a vagabond. I haven't worked in years. Multiple members of my family are wealthy.
>instead of standing with others against corpos and the new US oligarch class.
I give you too much credit. I can hate the vermin AND those who allowed them. There's over 50+ illegals in America since 1974. In the last 4 years alone, it's over 11 million. I will not continue to support an economic zone. Consider psychotherapy to address your uncommonly small or otherwise damaged amygdala. There is no cure.

"André Kostolany (February 9, 1906 – September 14, 1999) was a stock market expert, bon vivant and Chevalier de la Légion d'Honneur. He worked most of his life in France and Germany."
He basically wrote, that the Kurs is the sum of two waves of different frequencies and different amplitudes. And that the wave with the higher frequency has the lower amplitude. He drew the accompanying image to express this.

In any case, my overall point is that the economy and money is fake. Tha nearly 1 in 8 shouldn't be here is just a compounding factor in that. You're either brown or a liberal, and in either case it's generally safe to disregard your opinion. It's difficult to take people seriously like you who can't even follow basic rules or make excuses for those who do.
>Don't do X
>*they do X*
>You: Don't punish them.
You really are just inane. I do not care about the human element. People should be given homes because it increases stability which in turn increases birthrates and the IQ of children because there's a higher probability of two-parent households. If torturing people was better for society, that is what I would advocate for. I am not a moralist. Not only do (You) care too much, you care too broadly.
