when I was at school a High Court judge ruled that the teacher had to explain why it was bullshit before showing it.

No. Even as a kid my position has been "well, fuck those guys". They can all drown. Then we can all move to the Arctic.

>They were panicking about global warming back in 2006, haha, nothing happened
Not sure why people act like this. Global temperatures have indeed continued to rise since then

it would have been nice if global warming was treated as an actual issue instead of letting the environmentalists use it as an excuse to keep being annoying useless at pushing any actual solutions

Scared me.
Then I got older and realized I didn't care.
Then they started talking about how there will be "climate refugees", y'know, laying the groundwork.
That scared me more.

Scare because I was like 5 years old or something. Main reason why I don't give a fuck today. Also I hate people so much, it's unreal. Sometimes I exgalesome extra CO2 to make people mad.

The climategate emails about hiding the decline and discussion about unprofessional/unscientific methods got me thinking it was BS, and I started reading a lot more studies about global warming, there was more open discussion back then, and I became confident it was just a scam. Then they changed the name to climate change because of all the record cold and snow, then I was convinced it was a scam. Most people today never heard of climategate and believe climate change is real because of the mass media.

The only climate stuff I was shown in school was when I was a little kid a lady came to our school to tell us plastic takes thousands of years to break down and to recycle

I was unphased. I live in Canada, so Climate Change is mostly not my problem - if anything it might create more arable land and improve conditions. Largely though, I didn't care then and I don't care now. Even as a child I couldn't help but notice that everyone who said the world was going to end was a schizo-dipshit trying to grift: Y2K, Peak Oil, Japanese Economic Dominance, Chinese Economic Dominance, 2012, 2015, the world is seemingly always fucking ending and conveniently there always seems to be "prophets" with their hand out asking for gibs.
With that said, back on topic: I am actually somewhat verbally annoyed/disgusted/exhausted with the Climate Change dialogue. I am earnestly a big environmentalist; the environment is where we keep all of our coolest plants and animals, I hate to see any harm come to it. Climate Change Alarmism however is not environmentalism. Environmentalism is conservation: it's establishing parkland and keeping it intact and free of human interference, it's protecting animals from poachers and tourists, it's planting trees and having them persist until your grandchildren can appreciate them, it's not letting large companies dump noxious waste into the water and the air.
All the world's best environmentalism was done between the 60's and the 80's. Everything in the past 30 or 40 years has been faggots buying and sell Carbon Credits.
The Chernobyl Exclusion zone has done more for the environment, by being an irradiated shit-hole too dangerous for human habitation, than any climate change goal or carbon levy has.
