I know, but we can still pick up something on Sunday and hopefully we'll do better in spring.
Also because of our victory in 2023 Autumn Babby we'll be playing in the Champions league in two weeks if you're interested

Yes, thought I was just talking with one of the aesthetics guys about either getting the demon core or one of the versions of spikey as our second ball.
>funny skins
Yep,the 4cc is just a bunch of memes and funny models running around the field and whenever they score we play music.

Demon core is funny but representing it visually without the tiny details getting lost might be difficult? It would have to rely on the radiation to make the point, is that possible?

>without the tiny details getting lost might be difficult
That's my thinking. They'd need to model the cherenkov radiation to make it look like something other than just a metal sphere, because otherwise you're not going to not going to see any of the other details unless there's an up close replay, which is why I want to go with Spikey. We already have a piece of hardware, why not going with something a bit more mathematically abstract? The aesthetics guy also brought up the silicon sphere that defines the kilogram but it basically has the same problems as the demon core.
> is that possible
It can be done. but I kinda want to go with something more visually distinct. I guess we could just have a ball that's a carbon-12 atom with red and blue protons and neutrons, but other than that I'd don't have good ideas for another ball at the moment that wouldn't be retreading old ground.

you could maybe lock rotation and just have it upright at all times? and screwdriver poking out. might look weird tho.

Maybe it'll work? I think /u/ at one point had set their macaroon ball to only rotate on one axis.
Maybe the EM drive would also be a good idea for a ball

On second thought Fullerene may be something that would be hard to pull of in PES because it would be hollow, also stream compression might make it look noisy

>>16571745
Planet would be neat especially with rings, doesn't have to be Mars, we already talk about it enough. More interesting might be something like Arrokoth, though, if we were to go that route. Though I like the idea of going with something more abstract, that spikey thing looks neat especially since it's similar to the stop doing maths one which I think would be funny. Call it the Stop doing ball.

Now that I wrote this I realise there's probably a funnier version about 4CC balls to be made.
STOP DOING BALL

Wanted to make something more advanced anyway for a laugh? We had a tool for that: It was called "GITTING GUD"
"Yes please give me PLEATHER ball. Please give me HEXAGONS with it" โ Statements dreamed up by the utterly Deranged
LOOK at what Sweatshops have been demanding your Respect for all this time, with all the sewing machines & novel materials we built for them
(These are REAL Balls, done by REAL Companies):
modern football futsal ball handball
"Hello I would like golfball ball please"
They have played us for absolute fools
