>In the last interglacial (LIG) around 125,000 years ago, data suggest that sea level was several metres higher than today
Atmospheric CO2 concentration was much lower back then than it currently is, so why was sea level so much higher?

If you're not addressing this article to those already in the field then there are so many questions to be asked to clarify what this article means that "climate science debunked" is a premature suggestion.
For example: no matter the sea level back then compared to now and whatever is the most significant cause of sea level changing the question remains: how much of a threat are future changes to current conditions like coastal defenses, what does the cost/benefit analysis of potential government expenses to deal with changes look like and are they worth it? Since there's a lack of transparency other than hiding behind settled science there's understandably a distrust of current policy but that doesn't mean that there's literally nothing to worry about.
