masks work best for like one time. the more times you're exposed the more chances for a mistake.
in a shtf situation a mask would maybe buy you some extra time. you'll eventually fuck up, in an end of the world deadly virus scenario.

I've been doing N100s for almost 3 years and haven't even had a cold in that time. I know some infectious agents are considered dangerous enough that SCBAs are "needed" but I'm not sure if that's just being overly cautious because some of them aren't even really too airborne.
