Finding a way to reduce the obesity will solve atleast 80% of the nation's sickness. Whether that is through fixing the artificial food or targeting to children with colorful and sugary boxes or making ozempic or others cheaper. RFK jr is against the ozempic I think because its big pharma drug, but if that can fix the issue as well, we should do both the naturaliation of food and making drugs that target fat more accessible/cheaper/otc/etc.

Because animal fats are not going to be consumed in the same quantities as the seed oils and animal based dieters don't believe saturated fats to be as risky for cardiovascular health as seed oils and carbs.

His policy can be the long awaited verification or falsification of controversial hypotheses. For example: if animal based dieters are right then obesity is primarily caused by eating the wrong foods but if they're wrong then obesity might prove to be a genetic inclination to experience low satiety from any food and to store as much calories as possible. Thinking Ape just published a challenging view on this: normal weight people can be seen as having an unfair genetic advantage instead of being more disciplined because Ozempic users suddenly become very "disciplined" in what they eat simply by experience more satiety.

We'll see if it becomes a pandemic; bird flu scares have been around for literal decades. Plus, if it's likely to make a jump then then pharma companies with foresight should be using the currently circulating strains to engineer vaccines that can be tested with Gold Standard Science (tm) rather than being unceremoniously foisted into people's blood stream at warp speed. The fact that "vax mandate" is considered desirable to you is a bit concerning though.
Unless your talking about vaccinating livestock, which we have been able to do but have actively elected not to for several years at this point because it negatively affects exporting the animal products. RFK probably has little interest in increasing scrutiny on vaccines which target chickens and cows.

*I was* going make a quip mentioning how RFK was perfectly suited to the job since he has plenty of medical experience selling, and using, heroine & cocaine as a collage student. But no American politician seemingly knows any-fucking-thing. They're all earnestly underqualified.
>How fucked are we
Oh, you guys are completely fucked: RFK doesn't believe in viruses, vaccines, nor food allergies (which must have been fucking awful because he has a son with peanut allergies). He's also a chemtrail guy and a "pesticide/herbacides are causing gender dysphoria" (which might be true, not that he's going to do anything about it). RFK himself is also as sick as a dog: he has heart problems due to sleep deprivation and a mild caffeine addiction, he has spasmodic dysphonia (which isn't his fault, but hypocrite that he is; had to travel to Kyoto Japan to have a piece of titanium installed in his voice box so he could fucking talk and breath comfortable.) he's also suffered mental degradation from a LITERAL WORM EATING PART OF HIS BRAIN and MERCURY POISONING - Which he got because he got because RFK will not stop eating roadkill.
Here's the reality:
RFK is a frail old man who Trump deliberately picked as his health guy so he could fuck around with the healthcare system, make it more expensive and difficult, and if anybody complained about it RFK would be there to ad hominem some tale about how "the real medicine is 12 servings of fruits and vegetables" or "if you ran more you wouldn't have cancer".
You also need to think about how much RFK is going against his own moral compass to support Trump: RFK spent decades talking about climate change, protecting the environment (he's a big environmentalist), and how he hates processed food and fast food.

Trump hired a bunch of loyalists b/c his retarded ideas were curtailed by his advisors. Unironically, no leddit memes, he just wants more money. He is insider trading every decision he makes, which is why he reverses a lot of them so quickly, and makes them over the weekend. You can overhear him ask about the stock market at the end of some meetings. The IRS or FTC can't do anything because he's raping them. He legit did a crypto scam his first day in office, bagging over $100 million in fees after ten days. I guarantee he's gonna be one of the richest guys on the planned at the end of his term.
He gets his news from Facebook memes, you can trace a lot of his statistics or quotes directly to it. If you're loyal, you'll get rewarded; the New York mayor was facing a open and shut case of corruption, and it was just dismissed he agreed to do Trump's bidding. He's now vowing to help Trump get rid of all the "illegal immigrants" in New York.
His policy right now is to kneecap every agency which is supposed to check his power so he can later "fix" the issues he saw on the telly.

>how exactly would eating some well cooked roadkill result in these 2 aliments?
I'm glad you asked, it's two things:
1. Inconsistent cooking times with wild game was what lead to the worm. It may have also been travel, but the most likely culprit is undercooked dog, boar, or bear meat, given RFK predilection for roadkill.
2. We don't actually know 100% what caused the mercury poisoning. What we know is he didn't get it from an inorganic or an industrial pollutant, but he did contract it from bioaccumulation - this is a confession from the man himself and he blames it on his cognitive decline. Back in 2012 RFK scavenged the head of a deceased beached whale - he may have developed mercury poisoning from eating large quantities of the beasts fat and flesh.
I should actually clarify my position: I don't think RFK is a "bad or unqualified person" because he eats roadkill. What I am saying is RFK is unqualified and a bad pick for an important government position because of his various health issues and cognitive declined - caused by his irresponsible/lackadaisical prep of roadkill.
