What is the genetic mechanism behind mutts looking weird? I've seen a lot of biracial/mixed people and they near-universally end up with fucked up facial features. Many of them fall into an uncanny valley. Also mutts seem to have a higher rate of trannyism and other mental illnesses.I understand it's from some kind of genetic incompatibility, but I don't understand why this would happen?

The explanation I have heard is that populations develop clusters of alleles that are advantageous when combined.
If you introduce new ones from another population (that are themselves advantageous when combined with their own original population), then you get disadvantageous combinations.

Just how it is when you mix things that aren't supposed to be mixed. As per the trannyism, I think it comes with having a lack of identity, so they need to manufacture one, to have some sort of group to belong to.

Genes evolve to coexist the same way as animal populations evolve in groups, so if one specied disappears the rest suffer too. Ecology.
Its the same with genes, groups of genes evolve together, and work with each other.
You do a random mix and it wont work initially, mixed race populations need dozens of generations to work out the kinks and allow the bad mixes to be weeded out.
Most allegedly pure populations are mixes opf ancestral races that dont exist anymore. Such mixes have stabilized, its not the same as a fresh first generation hapa.
