🧵 Quitting Life?
Anonymous at Fri, 14 Mar 2025 22:39:33 UTC No. 16619121
People seem to be quitting life, or leaving society. I noted there were four people who left medicine, for example. From what I understand, two of them are "productivity" people: Ali Adball, and Zach Higley (picrel). There was also a neurosurgeon (https://www.youtube.com/results?se
There are other STEM people, like RealCivilEngineer quit their STEM job to exit the rat race STEM world.
I have a few thoughts why: 1) The world is shit and it doesn't matter if you check-out of society since everything is irredeemable anyway; 2) Feeling of robotic dread; 3) society burn out where there's nothing good in life, and there's a massive hole in your being that makes you want to leave; 4) objectively seeing life, feeling disgust, and withdrawing from society.
So, is this psychological, spiritual, or what? I don't know, and maybe these examples aren't unique, and maybe 100 years ago when "productivity" lifestyles weren't relevant for success, but people still dropped out of life.

I think you're talking about how this dropping out of society and violating the social contract boils down to just money.
If that's the case, then we have to get people away from meaningful jobs. Engineers who want the title, money, and prestige, need to go be Twitch streamers. Same with physicians, and various PhDs. Without purpose, drive, passion, interest, and invested capacity, all the work that happens will simply drive society into a faster nose-dive.

>get exploited for years without end
>lose the passion
Hm. I wonder why.
That being said, a cabin in the remote woodlands is starting to look reeeeaaaallll nice right about now.

YouTube does the same explotation for those who abandon a traditional career. One has to do "algorithm" participation with thumbnails, words, actions, and so on. Twitch streamers and YouTubers have to be corporate-style happy all of the time. If they fuck up once, their entire business is dead with no safety net. The job market in non-trad careers is saturated as hell. It doesn't seem any greener on either side, and I get the cabin-in-the-woods lifestyle. However, it isn't always fulfilling. What's left? Being a digital nomad with (he/him) still in your email footer? Still faking happiness? Still cleaning up the mess that co-worker females, or lesser races make? I don't think everything was this gay decades ago, or centuries ago.

Nothing has to be always fulfilling that is an unrealistic expectation.
But the simple truth is that whatever "social contract" was in place was broken. And it's not the gays, or women, or immigrants to any significant extent who broke it. It's people who want maximum productivity while providing less then minimum wage.
It's people who ask "Yeah but how can I sell this?" when people do research.

Maybe you think it's an unrealistic expectation because this world crushed your spirit and that's what makes you want to go innawoods.
>That being said, a cabin in the remote woodlands is starting to look reeeeaaaallll nice right about now.
this sounds like fulfillment.
Also, gays, women, immigrants, etc, are all a part of society and are a factor of it being shitty.

A part maybe, but the whole is so much bigger than the small components.

Yep. And the individualist materialist society has no critique of it. In fact, this rush toward hedonism is the preferred result based on their utils.
Let it burn.

Yeah - that's in a sense exactly what Ted warned about when they were ruining his land with their "developments".
Place where I live currently there is almost no woods. The ones that exist are either close to loud structures, like airports or highways, and are very small and filled with people.
Contrast that to the experience of being in an actual undisturbed forest far away from it all - much more relaxing.

I quit life after becoming deadly ill for many years and couldn't afford the meds I needed. Years of time wasted that by the time I did get the meds I needed I don't care anymore about life. 43 years old now, live alone. One friend left I'll text every couple months. No desire to ever get married or have children. Just want to be left alone.

first there are only 4 lives and 3 happens in a society
the 3 societies are
-hunter gatherer
-military society, with kings and kingdoms, emperors etc
-the commercial society in the form of the atheist democracy by subhuman anglos
each society provides a typical life. The 4th life is the one of the bums in the forest trying to be hermit or rascals.
You cant have a commercial power merged into a military power. A king is a military guy and the merchant class will collude with him. There is not enough room at the top
This is why the angloturds killed all the european kings after lots of propaganda and imposed their democracy crap
in less than 3 centuries the anglo scum turned the whole planet to shit

It's pretty fucking simple: women are hedonistic machines and it turns out that men are infatuated with it. And Men build societies to keep being infatuated with it.
99% of men make up spooks while they live to compete for women' attention, irrespective of the moral behavior of those women. It's women who give meaning and control the lives of all the men you will ever see in your life.
men seek to be valued by women at all cost.
All those men are cuckold sooner or later. As soon as a man values a woman, he will be cuckold. Society is based on men being disposable and replaceable by women & the ruling men. A woman has no problem replacing a lover, a husband or a father, especially when she does it for the kids, as opposed to doing it for her, which would be selfish from their POV.
Same thing with the ruling class. Men will serve them and they be happy to hear about merit or honor lol.
this is the truth about society that you must accept to go beyond it.
-1% of men try to find something else to value
-99% of this 1% go crazy in the woods becoming hermits and failing hard, making up retarded spooks, being a laughing stock for the men in society.
-the 1% of the 1% get good at meditation
-99% of those 1% of 1% confuse meditation with enlightenment
=>so 1% of 1% of 1% of men actually stop being coomers.

Monetary expansion has distorted the price signal of money causing a massive decline in real terms incomes, in effect monetary expansion functions as price controls on labor (in the broadest sense: wages & salaries), as liquid assets will always inflate faster and more fully than illiquid assets like labor. What do price controls cause? Shortages. People are dropping out as the juice of participation is no longer worth the squeeze.
