If you want to talk about weirdos like XXY, and hence categorize sex by chromosomes, then down's syndrome is another sex. Funny. So is male down's syndrome (missing chromosome + XY) and female down's syndrome (missing chromosome + XX) the third and fourth sex?
There's two sexes because that's how evolution works. They should read about it. I don't know how insane society has to be not to admit this fact that is so ubiquitous and common, you can literally take binoculars and just observe animals to see a clear and biological divide between the male and female, and their appropriately differing behavior.

The funny thing is that according to the APA's cited number, polydactyly (0.1%-0.2%) is about 1/10th as common as having both testes and ovaries.
Also, the APA citation of Esteban is bullshit. The 1.7% number is only brought up in the purpose statement and is itself a citation of advocacy propaganda that claims nameless "experts" came up with a number between 0.05% and 1.7% (no studies cited to support either number). The 0.05% number itself is dubious, because it is itself an umbrella classification of "genital atypia" which may include simply an enlarged clitoris or any of a number of differences from "normal" without necessarily being a difference in function, only that someone was operated on. Since there's no citation, there's no way to know if that 1/2000 number includes female genital mutilation in Africa/Asia.
The citation from the IoM refers to identity. Gill-Peterson isn't a scientific study, it's a book written by a tranny to support tranny activism. And Nguyen turned right around and said that studies are generally inconclusive when it comes to brain volume, except that women have smaller brains relative to their bodies than men.
In short, the APA statement left "science" behind after the first citation from the AMA that sex is a biological characteristic determined by chromosome and reproductive anatomy, and then proceeded to misquote every other study cited with the exception of a trans activist's book.

The APA is and has been captured by the pharmaceutical industry since the '70s at the very latest. They have consistently blocked any attempt to prove that the meds they describe as treatment for depression etc. have any scientific basis. In fact, it took a bunch of mentally ill people starving themselves to admit that the chemical imbalance theory is just marketized bullshit but the APA, still to this day, proposes that as the precise mechanism of how depression comes to be.
As far as I know, they still pride themselves with the picture of Kraepelin who was a notorious eugenicist and, among other things, educated numerous psychiatrists who went on to propose and eventually implement the T4 program in Hitler Germany.
