of course. If you believe anything the mainstream claims you are objectively fucken retarded.

this is why I'm rich as fuck. Redditors and other idiots just give me their money because social media said so lol.

thank you mankind for the carbon dioxide which has spurred the growth of trees around the world

Anonymous No. 16621180

1. people already estimated all non-anthropocentric sources
2. measuring CO2 at global scale is trivial, for air and oceans
With both you can have a pretty good understanding of the CO2 cycle, the question is how much it does affect the climate and in which ways. But of course, some people seems more interested in validating its own hypothesis and others are simply receiving $...

>volcano shits itself and eclipses mankind's CO2 output
pollution still sucks shit because then every downtown traffic pit is basically spewing volcano fumes that you have to huff if you live there.
There's a million reasons to support environmentalism but the doomsday scare tactic is indeed a grift

That graphic shows 0.04% or 400ppm co2. We are actually slightly above that currently. For the last million years we have been below 300ppm.
Raising air temperatures from the greenhouse effect causes arctic ice to melt, causing weather extremes. It's also making the ocean acidic, so in the future we may not be able to rely on our oceans to provide food when we trigger a marine extinction event.

On the bright side, USA and Europe have been lowering their co2 output, but china and india have increased theirs.
One of the 14 NAE grand engineering challenges for the 21st century are to "Develop Carbon Sequestration Methods", which is necessary to have negative co2 output to mitigate the damage we are causing.

Volcanism creates rocks that weather and erode absorbing co2 in the process taking it out of the atmosphere. This is called the Rock Cycle.

Taking coal and oil out of the earth and burning it is clearly a massive imbalance that no natural cycle can absorb. Unfortunetly the entire world economy relies almost exclusively on coal, oil and gas.

Doomsday is not the right word because its going to happen over thousands of years, slowly getting worse and worse.

Its basically inevitable. The ship is too big to turn.

Can you explain a bit more what you mean?

Also cattle is typically only raised in places that are not suitable to intense agriculture (grasslands) and they are fattened up for a year before slaughter.

I'm talking about land clearing, burning, treatment and turnover into pastureland, palm oil, poisoned oil fields, nitrated cesspits, and further desertification.
Dense rainforests and carbon sinks don't just come back, and forest maintenance or meme capture have been the most effective solutions because of how essential they are or could be to buffering this shit.

Climate change is a hoax made by oil companies to discredit any future discussion of environmental health. It's like when whenever there are something sketchy going on with the government, they release flat-earthers to align themselves with the noticers and make it seems like everyone who believes there's something sketchy going on is a nutjob. Which happened with the covid, for example. We destroying the earth by pollution and destruction of nature, not by cow farts. The reason why Bill Gates and oil companies don't want you to hear the truth is because in order to solve this problem we would have to re-design the whole industry from scratch and they don't want to spend that much money. This is why instead of inventing preventive technologies for nuclear plants we have protestors throwing canned tomatoes on random pictures in museums.
