how do molecular machines evolve from stochastic chemical processes. How do the hyper-complex systems involved in neurochemistry self-reinforce in a way that goes from primordial soup to human cognition?

Neither do I. Turns out, belief was never a valid stance. Take your faith posting to /x/.

Even without knowing the details, the fact that there were around thirty trillion iterations makes it hard to imagine anything too difficult to brute force.
>primordial soup to human cognition
Thirty trillion steps.

yeah dude and if we wait around in the universe for 400 trillion years a consciousness will just arise out of the quantum fluctuations

questioning retardation is anti-science, we just have faith that random chemical reactions become coherent after 30 trillion iterations

Hmm, an indirect mention. What part didn't you like? The part where "belief" has multiple meanings, half of which are inadmissible to scientific discussion? Word better.

belief leads to pursuit of novel ideas, it inspires the process the science but isn't the end result of it

the reason you see this so black and white is because you don't realize how big downstream effects you can have on any given system from tiny changes in the initial conditions. You should apply that to the very nature of the type of chemical reactions that are possible, qualities shaped by its environment. In one area of the primordial soup you get conditions that are conducive to life and the other non life

>intelligent design is the null hypothesis because it just is
Why do you think complex life either needed to arise from random elements on Earth or have been put there by some intelligent being? First is unlikely and the second solves nothing because now you have to explain the origin of that precursor intelligent being. Life was probably kick started by something not-quite-life that formed in regions of space with greater energy gradients and landed on Earth. And this probably happened many times and failed to become life on all attempts but one.

evolution doesn't claim to know the origin in life so you're already starting off bad
