yes, it takes up a nonzero amount of space on at least one, if not multiple hard drives assuming backups and archive sites scraping the thread as well, also google which indexes these, and every anon who has this thread in their browser cache.

Most of that data is utter garbage and short lived numbers and is never stored. Just because something is needed to be transmitted (often duplicated, multiple times over, many people consume the same brainrot), doesn't mean it is new data and needs to be stored somehow. Going by that logic my computer is creating many gigabytes of data every second by simply doing it's computations, yet I'm not running out of atoms to do them anytime soon.
