Strangelets are cool. False vacuums obviously. Magnetic monopoles catalysing proton decay. The orbital debris chain reaction meme theory is interesting although not really an apocalypse.

Strangelets are too heavy to reach critical mass and they aren't even produced in sufficient quantities in universal gigabigga events like cosmic rays. Same for false vacuum decay, if it wasn't triggered already it has little hope of doing that in the future. Cosmic rays are too far to fry the Earth. Collisions with celestial objects is impossibly unlikely. Humanity is to egoistical to nuke itself, no world leader will ruin his legacy and accept living in an underground shelter like a mole for no reason. There were at least two opportunities where a nuclear strike was reported and the operators were like nah and didn't retaliate under the threat of (reported) annihilation.
Why even be scared of an apocalypse. If you die the entire universe is gone with you because there's no one to expedience it anymore. It makes no difference if it's just you or the whole world.
