🧵 At least two must be true

Anonymous No. 16624418 Report

1. Free will doesn't exist
2. Solipsism is true
3. The universe isn't locally real

Unironically superdeterminism is the source of free will. My thoughts are as follows:
Bell's inequalities show that one is wrong
A) realism
B) locality
C) statistical independence

It seems to me there exists reality (no solipsism), and there exists locality: General Relativity seems correct, and to me giving up on locality would allow for retro causal effects which is essentially the same as superdeterminism anyway.

If we give up on C) we arrive at superdeterminism where the choice of the experimenter is determined at the beginning of the universe. We see Bell inequalities because the 'choice' of the experimenter has been baked into the universal plan for all things. Thus, in an EPR experiment (and all other instances), the neuron's of an experimenter fired in exactly such a way as to steer the muscles to perform the experiment as intended since the beginning of the universe. But what caused this firing of the neuron’s in this way? To say the cause is at the beginning of the universe, is to say the cause is extra physical, it puts the choice not in the realm of physics, but in a godly realm. In this realm, free will exists and here you reside (your consciousness and your soul). Making a choice here will compel the neurons of your body to move you as intended and as required by your choice. And the universe will adapt to your choice.

None of these are required to be true. You seriously running with a math error of that type?

Explain yourself. What the hell do you mean, and how do you reason your way to "2 must be true". Not disagreeing, just asking for clarification

Typo at least one must be true. I think

I read it on the sci board archive once including the explanation and now I can't find that post in the archive

only one thing can be true, never two (at least not simultaneously)

This seems to be the latest buzzphrase for pseuds ever since the nobel prize for that retarded experiment was given.

the universe is local but nonreal
free will exists
solipsism is a cope, doesn't matter if its right, its adherents are all gay
