All life in the universe will be destroyed in 5000 years time. There is no hope of anything like it ever arising again. Life will be normal up until the point the destruction occurs. You can prevent this with 100% certainty, but it will kill you immediately and it will be a bit painful. Do you?

you will be dead. I would focus on having life on earth 80-100 years from now.

Why do philosophers have such a hard-on for creating unrealistic moral dilemma's with no win-win solutions like they are some kind of evil entity? If we let OP continue like this next he will bind people to train tracks and ask you to decide who should be run over by a train by pulling a lever.

You forgot either the lightning flash or the teleport that has a chance of breaking down and rebuilding Sisyphus to and from his fundamental particles at the speed of light: is he for real now or faking it?

There are two tracks. Bottom track is empty and the top track has the person who invented the trolley problem. If that person is ran over it is guaranteed that no one else will come up with the trolley problem, ever. We will be free, past, present and future. If you pull the lever the trolley will be diverted to the top track.

You must pull the lever. This isn't a question. It's a request.
