Do you think it was a hydrogen iceberg? What else could have caused it to accelerate away from the sun? Aliens?

Look, all I know is even Avi Loeb was taking the angle that it was a *derelict* solar sail or whatever because the amount of acceleration didn't get into the "this is an amazing working alien spaceship" range.

Doubt it was some sort of extrasolar alien craft but given the vastness of space, it's quite surprising that something from outside the Solar System crossed paths with us. It was either an astonishingly improbable event or space is littered with more random objects that we previously assumed. There are many reasons why that could have terrifying implications.
