How to cure IBS/histamine/mcas/dysautomania?

Try nutritional routes
Might appear fruitless with bullshit promoted on us
But i resolved an 8 year gut issue supplementing 2g of lysine daily, managed to salvage my reasoning and reverse damage accumulated on the antipsychotics that were used to treat the ultimately stress-induced issue.
Try blending up some blueberries to drink, take a multivitamin, add some supplemental copper, molybdenum, b12 scour for solutions till you find one, make sure it’s sustainable - drugs aren’t

>molybdenum
you want me to eat a rock? And how does lysine cure gut issues?

In my case
Either direct 5ht-4 modulation - discovered it trying to alleviate restlessness from metoclopramide, or more complex downstream activities, its a fundamentally essential nutrient after all - would be dead without it.
Molybdenum is interesting, body uses it to create enzymes that neutralise stuff like sulphites, which can cause ibs and allergy symptoms. Also can become retarded and terminally ill (cancer) if dont get enough of it.

I become resltess from l-glutamine. Does that tell us anything?

From what im aware, heightened acetylcholine and lower dopamine in the nigrostriatal pathway coincides with restlessness (akathisia)
In some circumstances glutamine, by raising glutamate, could excite cholinergic neurons within the area to cause restlessness
Myself wouldn’t take an anticholinergic to reduce, could try lysine albeit appears more indirect but could still work or other nutrient could work.
When i first introduced calcium it felt like alcohol withdrawal, took some adjusting which having everything else adequate definitely facilitated.
Decide yourself, are you taking too much or too little, and find the most productive/sustainable route

funnily enough, magnesium, b6 and zinc stack is what is suggested for histamine/mcas issues related to possibly caused by low progestrone. I'll try it out.

Glycinate is my favourite magnesium so far, some (but not too much) BBB penetrability
Did notice a dependence-like issue arising using it before adding copper and some others - can definitely feel and behave like a drug in some cases, - a single element or molecule is often not the fix, raise one - more energy expenditure, problems from inadequate intake of others become more pronounced.

describe your gut issue and diet/s before the resolution and after. Did you notice big differences in what you ate and how you felt in general, not just digestion?

Long story
Began at 16 while overusing vyvanse (malnutrition)
Problems passing gas, intermittent stool buildup, general annoyance that scared me away from all drugs for 18 months
Eventually became fed up after seeing a gastroenterologist for a few months, smoked weed - unfortunately worked, then got on medical
Led to fluvoxamine, didn’t really do anything other than impair motivation and delude me into believing the “neurogenesis” “nootropic” pharma “benefits”
A psych got me to take brexpiprazole (metab inhibited by fluvoxamine) and it “cured” my gut issues - in hindsight due to anxiety reduction via annihilation of endogenous reasoning and useful inherent rigidity trait. Became addicted to drugs again till encountered a staged supply issue as kept escalating dose - not sustainable. After I quit all the drugs abrupty (fluvox, brex, pramipexole, acamprosate) gut issues returned after 2 weeks (coincides with brex half-life relative to likely duration) along with mental instability and delusion-like stuff
Had been eating either junk or nothing at all the entire time (couldn’t be fucked cooking myself - “hey medicare, gibs us more money to support this retard”) so eventually after months of hospital visits and a supposed questioning of my decision-making capacity (including medical!) i found a nutritional route and have been restoring my health, exercising, only eating stuff I know will benefit me, gradually improving my independence to eventually drive my reliance or urges to ask others (particularly government-funded) down to nothing.

The weed worked temporarily, only really the first night i used it, couldve been the higher CBD present in illicit relative to medical at the time - doesn’t really matter, its an antiandrogen dead-end drug to me now

There have been profound improvements to my cognition and physical state since getting the nutrients right - better on-the-spot problem solving (less resorting to anger - can decide if productive or not), better memory (recall random stuff from ages ago sometimes), greater muscle strength, speed (calcium seems to rev up limb responsiveness), sleep is beautiful, motivation is there, less of a chicken in confronting situations.
Dont forget amino acids, love some phenylalanine and tyrosine with a few nicotine lozenges in the morning.
