i want to get into martial arts to develop discipline and get active somewhat bros. there's a couple martial arts places nearby and they all practically teach tang soo do.

but that's beside the point. im afraid to go there because of my weight, im around 250 lbs and 6'3"

This is like not going to the gym because you’re not already jacked. Use martial arts as a reason to begin exercising and hopefully getting your weight under control. No one’s expecting you to be a master athlete day 1.
