I enjoy watching their videos but I also acknowledge it's all pretty retarded. The point of real fighting promotions banning shit like eye gouges and biting is because it's low-skill high-damage and no one cares who is willing to do the dirtiest shit first. If "realness" was really their focus they'd stop checking hand wraps for razor blades and let guys fight high on PCP.

simon the savage is not the best fighter in KOTS. That is either English Wilf or Hooibooi. They are pretty decent but yes they arent exactly UFC tier fighters. Its mostly striking heavy which is usually a poor indicator or quality, as people who get into MMA just to be a tough guy don't usually appreciate grappling as much as those who care about the sport as a whole. Having said that the concrete floor also could explain the lack of takedowns, it makes people more reluctant to shoot for double legs. Maybe greco roman wrestling could do good in KOTS.
