I'm 5'10 160 and I've met plenty of fighters and the only guys who are routinely taller are the judo guys, while the straight wrestlers are usually thicker
bjj guys seem to usually be noodle boys, and before you post gordon ryan go look at his pics from a few years ago, before he gassed up he was a doughy white kid

This. For the vast majority of reasons people practice martial arts, going to the gym would undoubtedly be a better use of time. Martial arts is a gimmick, a meme used to lure in autists who like to pretend there is something mystical about hitting & choking people.
