Actually it's more of a martial art than aikido because you take people down instead of touching people's hands and watching them falling by themselves

Is rugby an extreme sport in the USA? World Rugby have just stitched up every tier 2 nation with their new league, not sure how this is going to work for places where the sport is trying to grow.

I would say that rugby is an extreme sport. Pretty much everyone I know that's into rugby has had some serious injuries and scars as a result of it. Broken collarbones, legs, arms, etc.
