I can't fucking high kick because of shit mobility. I also hate stretching. I work standing and I got myself some of them fitness rubber ribbons and I'm doing leg side raises and side figure 8s all day every day. It seemingly works but idk. Did anyone here get to high kicks this way?

When I was 14 I could do a full split and did karate every day. Now I am 26 and haven't trained seriously for over a decade and cannot even get halfway down into a split but I can still easily kick at head height probably the only kick I cannot do well anymore is an ax kick. How inflexible do you have to be to not high kick at all lol.
