At the end of the day your stylistic choice isnt going to matter much
Unless you're talking about kyokushin, then its muay thai 100%
Kyoku is pure garbage, no actual applicable fighting technique, it's just a durability contest

My assumption is you meant karate with actual live sparring practice in which case what I said applies, at the end of the day any difference is negligible, they're both the same family of kung fu derived ethnic striking arts

Actually good Kyokushin karate is cooler, but Muay Thai will get you to an effective level much faster and is the gold standard of stand up combat

Id say karate is like a cute dance class, just like taekwondo. Something your dad takes you to, when youre a kid.
But you know why parents dont take their kids to muay thai or boxing? You get fucked up there for real.
Youre allowed to hit with knees and elbows even to the temple of head at muay thai. Its not a fucking joke. If you sign up there, LISTEN TO YOUR TRAINER WHEN THEY SPEAK. You may fuck around at aikido or taekwondo, bt Muay Thai is where the games end.
