When everyone else's wrestling isn't on par, there's some logic behind it for easy passive pressure. But of course, the fatter you are and the longer you're fat, the harder it is to get rid of. And the worse it is for your health. And you're gonna hit a hard fucking wall if an equal or better wrestler makes his way through the ranks. See Frank Mir vs Roy Nelson grappling match for the most obvious example of fat guy top pressure.
