๐Ÿงต How uncommon is it for someone to practice martial arts?

Anonymous No. 154713

Seriously, I honestly think we're ever more unique than bodybuilders or gym bro normies that just train for looks, We are warriors that train for physical combat, the only ones that mog us are soldiers that actually go into battlefields, no one bullies us and women find us sexually appealing

Nah most martial arts are outcasts and rejects of society, and don't talk to me about the office worker who trains bjj twice a week, i say the guys who take training seriously

Depends. A lot people took kids karate classes growing up. That does technically make them martial artists in the same way that casual lifters who are half assing everything are still technically gym goers.
>We are warriors that train for physical combat
Lmfao, chill out bud. Talking like this makes you look like an over enthusiastic white belt, which you probably are. Humble yourself.

Yeah damn near every pro fighter hates himself and has huge emotional problems, in addition to being a dumbfuck. Well adjusted pro fighters stick out like a sore thumb. Steven Thompson and Sage Northcutt are characters in MMA when they'd be totally generic in any other sport.

I must disagree my friend, some fighters are crazy and have had shitty lives, but they are nowhere near the majority.

This image of troubled fighters must come from Tyson and UFC advertisements.

Nah, normal people become accountants, if you are enduring an actual pro training routine you have some loose screws at least

Depends where you live. My city has a lot of boxing/mma/etc gyms even in the shitty neighborhoods so the chances of you running into someone who trains is like 1 in 5-10

This pretty much. When I started training I was the only person in my social circles to be training but that's because of a lack of gyms.

As a wise anon once said gyms are usually populated with either autists or dudebros
