Is it worth it?

Have you received formal training and are actively training martial arts? Because if not, then no.
I own one. I haven't touched it in years. It's good, you can have all sorts of fun with it, but I don't have the motivation to train with it. I originally thought of using it for cardio. Also neighbors really dislike punching sounds

They are fun but at the end of the day it's just a fancy standing heavy bag.
Get it if you have money to spare and you already like heavy bag training. If both of those aren't true for you then save your money.

The base is too wide to make use of any close range training where those sculpted features might make any difference. It's too upright, unless you're fighting the terminator, no one stands that way. The bottom rocking motion you get out of any weighted free standing bag is awkward for working power. The only thing I've seen for it that I like are the arms addition, but it's such a specific use that unless you're running a school or just have cash to burn, you'd be better off with any number of other choices. It's just too specific, without being good enough at those specifics to offset.

This person has literally no clue what they are talking about.
Ignore them.

Once you have a good level of sparring experience with others, I would use them for just general conditioning and muscle memory.

Yea, the cost of a new/used bob is the price of a 3-8 month membership to a boxing gym. In most cases, the membership is more worth it.

You've heard of animal style kung fu? Well, get ready for: Pitbull style kung fu!
It's based on the principle of finding retarded oblivious parents and then eating their children.

Not by the same manufacturer, which is unfortunate and sexist, problematic, inequitable, or whatever.

My instructor told us that couples who train together stay together.
