Did someone stronger than an opponent armed with a bat can beat him or bat hits are too strong to defend yourself against it?
Also are baseball bats useful for self-defense against any unarmed opponent?

The point of percussion for the bat is all the way at the end. You can beat a bat (or most blunt weapon swings) by crossing distance beyond that point of percussion to reduce the power of the blow. The guy in this video probably isn’t actually trained to do this but he still tanked a blow to his arms and was able to cross distance and get the bat from the guy who hit him.

A good crack go the head of course but they're not as effective as a weapon as people think, especially aluminum ones
They have such little mass behind them I've seen people run straight through that, myself too I blocked on on my arms and didn't even feel it
