Why should we have our weaker hand in front? Not that I'm complaining cause it actually feels natural for me but
Just why?
After all we punch with our forward hand more often than the rear hand so why not make these punches stronger, especially if you're a strong guy so knocking people out with a jab probably isn't impossible for you?

It's just the simpliest method, and the most widespread because of boxing. There are other methods, but you'll be dealing with the same problems natural southpaws have without the benefit of mirroring. More complex, less tape/coaching/written on it. There are certainly fighters in many rulesets/styles that have made it work, it's just gonna take a lot more effort.

Your non dominant hand isn't particularly weaker, but it will have the tendency of being a little more clumsy. Read hand with which you can generate more power usually requires more coordination, so it's good to leave that role to the hand that is naturally more dexterous. If you go into southpaw you'll see jabbing with your right isn't hard to do, but straights with your left won't be as good. You can of course train that way and build up your skills, but why bother when you can do the other way with no drawbacks and some slight benefits?

It's really just easier to learn one stance than learn both. In sword fighting it's the strong hand /weapon wielding hand that leads. Sword and shield you need the Shield holding hand forward. Filipino Martial Arts is ambi-dextrous, but those stance switches confuse the hell out of me because I'm so used to fighting orthodox.

If you play Baseball or Softball the dominant hand is the throwing hand, glove hand is the weak hand. So the baseball stance is like Boxing where the strong hand throws the hardest and is positioned to the back.

Two reasons. First, you can generate more mechanical power with the rear hand due to your ability to rotate your hips/torso or step forward with the punch. Second, most people are far more coordinated with their dominant hand, so it makes more sense to use that mechanical power generation with the hand you'll be more powerful and accurate with in a fight.
