Yes and no, it has a grest chance of causing brain bleeding and damage but those aren't necessarily instantaneous. The person hit could still win the fight but then suffer serious consequences later.

Any strike to the upper skull has a bettet chance of knockout. If you're aiming for the jaw you're an idiot, aim for cheekbones.
