God decides to flood the world, except this time, you have to earn your spot on the ark.

Each species must enter into a fighting competition. Their intelligence is temporarily boosted to the level of the average human, and they are allowed 10 years of training within the hyperbolic time chamber, during which they don't age.

The animals are divided into weight classes, and further by habitat. You can't have a lobster fight a rabbit, for example.
Each bout consists of three fights, to the death. One in each of the natural habitats (bounded area) of the participating species, and one in an MMA octagon.

Of course, animals like bears and cats would clean house, but I'm more interested in less commonly discussed matchups.
Personally, I think primates would be a strong contender for one of the strongest orders. The dexterity makes them more suited to martial arts than most other animals, and having 4 or even 5 useable limbs would make them deadly grapplers.
