Pros: If you actually play airsoft in your larp kit you'll learn what works and what doesn't. If you setup the airsoft gun like a real one, its similar to dryfire practice. You can dive and run around all silly-willy and try wacky stuff since BB's aren't bullets. You can find out that the wildly positioned mag setup you researched for weeks and defended for hours while all of /gq/ dumped on it actually does suck to draw from under anything besides playing pretend in the basement.

Cons:gotta play airsoft or its all a waste. people who play airsoft are airsofters, and you'll associate with them. your expensive game accurate doom helmet probably doesnt stop BB's. BB's can crack lenses on optics/lights and dont care if they hit a real aimpoint or not. BB anywhere makes you out.

How do you guys do magazine maintenance? I have a couple mags that only feed half their shots and then double feed the next. They're all the same manufacturer as the gun, stock chamber. I'm talking about midcaps.

When I had trouble with doublefeeding I drilled a slight nudge where the BB hits the roof to keep them in place. Haven't doublefed since.
