Rival are good.
Also, gloves for the bag are not usually the gloves you'll want for sparring.
Hand wraps, shorts, headgear, and mouthguard are easy to shop for.

I do Muay Thai but I think the gloves are mostly interchangeable.

Common brands of decent quality fighters have been: Fairtex, Primo, Yokkao
