What if he had tried to become not only middleweight but also heavyweight and light heavyweight champion before Brock Lesnar and Jon Jones got their belts?

The guy got dominated by Chael Sonnen of all people, I don't think he could've become triple champ.

Lyoto Anderson would have been an interesting matchup but they decided not to fight since they are training partners and personal friends. Anderson should have fought Shogun after Shogun beat Lyoto that would have been cool. But I don't see anyway Anderson could become heavyweight champ or beat Jon Jones as you indicate already.

too small for light/heavyweight. The dude broke a shin kicking Weidman in the same weight class. Also not as strong, Jones would get him eventually if they tied up.

Randy Couture was 44 at the time and Silva was 32 so Randy shouldn't be very hard to beat

Randy wasn't a giant either
>The dude broke a shin kicking Weidman in the same weight class
He was 38 at the time. Bones weaken with age.
