Anonymous No. 189476

Just finished rereading Teppu and All-Rounder Meguru after remembering a storytime on /a/ 2(?) years ago where some Brazilian dude got me into martial arts. If you browse this board, thank you you bastard, soon I'll be participating in my first competition.

Anyway, I'm looking for more stuff like this, I already read Ippo btw. Also, movies and other media are also cool

You should be training instead, even if "geek" stuff it's super massive now most professional fighters don't consume it

Some good MA manga: Shamo, Kengan Ashura (Omega is garbage), Garouden. Weaker and a bit cringe but still alright: Holyland. You already know about Teppu it seems. Theres also a ton of korean manwha, most is rather mid at best though. When it comes to movies and series, there isnt really a ton of good Martial Arts stuff that is unknown. My favorites are the 36th chambers of Shaolin and Daredevil.

Baki, Kengan Ashura, Cestus (make sure you read the part 1 first), Tekken-Den Tough, Shamo. Those are the big ones.

Then you have the two big ongoing MMA ones, Tomato Can (on webtoon) and Red Blue (on mangadex, updates once in a blue moon).

The usagi comic series is alright.. most MA comics are rather mid at best, If you want to read absolute garbage, read Heart. MMA comic about some fooder being delusional. One of the better ones is called Fight for Tommorow, although its still rather meh compared to most Manwha and Manga with the same themes. There was this one bully martial arts manwha called Guard Pass that is okayish

This is peak poser bullshit. Acting like training is all you do 24/7 & fighters don't do other shit during recovery. There are several fighters who have been outspoken fans of anime & manga. Not even accurate fight centric shit either. There are tons of fighters & fitbros who are fans of Naruto & Dragonball. Tons who play video games. And many others who have all kinds of hobbies. Being a good fighter isn't this larpy bullshit about it being your sole fucking activity. You got to be well rounded to have a sharp mind & not stagnate.

it's during the rest period afterwards that your body makes adaptations

it's really not what your fantasy thinks it will be like
the sex is terrible because as you know they're really submissive behind closed doors so that energy doesn't translate to the bedroom
also the reason you have a tomboy in the first place stems from insecurity about their body and that insecurity bleeds into all other aspects too
and then it's the general grossness involved, constant TMI, farting like nobodies business, it's not sexy
even if you get into the mind set of enjoying the firm muscly physique she'll do something gross like "hold on I gotta go take a shit"

Anonymous No. 191500

Read Shura no Mon. It was written from 1987 to 1997. The first arc actually pre-dated the UFC by focusing on a martial arts tournament where all kinds of fighting styles whether catch wrestling, judo, karate, Muay Thai, etc. were depicted. And it actually showcased ground-fighting and submissions to an extent that surprised me.

Yeah man, you might have chronic homosexuality. If you don't like her tomboyshness and all the negative traits you claim comes with it, help her fix it. Simple ass. Oh, she's insecure? Give her reasons and make her feel like she shouldn't be. If she is submissive in bed ask her to do things that is 100% under her control, it will be slow but eventually she will get there. Constant TMI and farting? Well, about this one you either tell her and risk a negative response or you just get comfortable with it, at the end of the day both partners need to change to make a relationship work and if you are not willing to do that, leave her to us, faggot.
